Free Credited BRT Cowry Cards, and Staple food Pack to All Agboyi-Ketu LCDA Staff : Mayor Oshinowo Promise to do more

In a thoughtful initiative aimed at supporting the indigent residents of Agboyi Ketu LCDA, Mayor Hon Dele Osinowo took action by distributing Food Palliative and Free BRT Cowry Cards. This effort sought to alleviate the financial burden brought about by the removal of fuel subsidies and complemented the ongoing BRT Bus Fare Reduction introduced by Governor Sanwo-olu.

During the distribution event held at the Council Headquarters, Mayor Dele Osinowo emphasized that the distribution of 10,000 Naira Credited BRT Cowry Cards to the LCDA staff was designed to counterbalance the increased transit fares resulting from the subsidy removal. Alongside the cards, staple foods were also distributed among the staff, with the intention of motivating and encouraging their dedication to service, as the Mayor believed that content employees are more productive.

Mayor Dele Osinowo praised the program as a "Complementary" effort to the positive endeavors of the Babajide Sanwo-olu administration. He acknowledged the responsiveness of the Lagos State Government in meeting the needs of its citizens during this transformative phase. While recognizing the challenges brought on by the subsidy removal, the Mayor called for patience among the residents of the LCDA and reassured them of the economic benefits that would eventually arise from this decision.

Urging unity and support, Mayor Dele Osinowo extended his endorsement to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, citing his ability to guide the nation toward prosperity. The Mayor's distribution of essentials and transit cards emerged as a proactive step, reflecting his commitment to alleviating immediate challenges while aligning with the broader vision of progress set forth by both local and state administrations.
