Mayor Dele Osinowo praised the program as a "Complementary" effort to the positive endeavors of the Babajide Sanwo-olu administration. He acknowledged the responsiveness of the Lagos State Government in meeting the needs of its citizens during this transformative phase. While recognizing the challenges brought on by the subsidy removal, the Mayor called for patience among the residents of the LCDA and reassured them of the economic benefits that would eventually arise from this decision.
Urging unity and support, Mayor Dele Osinowo extended his endorsement to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, citing his ability to guide the nation toward prosperity.
