Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA empowered youths and women after a 3weeks skill acquisition training

 The Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA's recent accomplishment in empowering youths and women through a free skill acquisition program has been a resounding success. Graduates of this program, spanning a diverse range of skills such as tailoring, hairdressing, makeup, gele, skin care, catering, and home essentials, completed their intensive 3-week training with joy and a sense of gratitude.

At the helm of this initiative is the Executive Chairman of the LCDA Bldr. Olusesan Daini, whose representation by Vice Chairman Alh. Maja Okedina echoed his commendation for the community's robust turnout in support of the program. Expressing congratulations to the graduates, Daini emphasized the importance of translating their newly acquired skills into meaningful endeavors.

The fruition of this program can be attributed to the collaborative efforts of the New Era Project and Sunglow Business Concept, a testament to the power of partnerships in driving impactful community initiatives. As the program unfolded, Daini extended heartfelt appreciation to the instructors and collaborators for their dedication and unwavering commitment.

A significant note of gratitude also went to Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, the Emugoriade 1st and Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, for generously providing the space that facilitated the program's operation. This collective effort culminated in a celebratory event graced by dignitaries, including the Iyalode of Igbogbo Kingdom, members of Adeboruwa Oba in council, the Council Manager, Council Engineer, Councilors, Supervisors, and other notable figures.

Beyond its immediate impact, the skill acquisition program stands as a pivotal stepping stone towards community empowerment, offering invaluable opportunities for personal growth and development. Chairman Daini underscored that this accomplishment is only the beginning, hinting at a promising continuation of positive endeavors to uplift the community.

WHO IS KAFILAT OGBARA

  Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara was born to Alhaji and Alhaja M. Ade. Kasumu’s family in Aiyepe Ogun State. She attended Adrao International School in Victoria Island and Federal Home Science PSchool Ikoyi, Lagos respectively. Her Secondary School Education was at Federal Government Girls College Langtang, Plateau State.
