Mayoress of Ikosi Isheri LCDA, Distributes 250 Free GCE Forms to Indigent Residents.

 


Education being the most powerful weapon needed in changing the world. 

At this period in which the whole country is embattled with the effect of the subsidy removal, the Mayoress of Ikosi Isheri LCDA Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada supported 250 indigent families in the LCDA with free GCE Examination forms, so as to encouraged their children that qualifies for the examination. 






During the occasion of the distribution of the forms, the Mayoress said the objective of this initiative is to create a level playing field for financially disadvantaged individuals who aspire to further their education. She therefore assured all the beneficiary that if they study hard and performed excellently well in the upcoming GCE Examination, her government is ready to support their ambition to the higher institution of learning by providing all of them with a free UTME Forms and other support they will need to accomplished their respective goals in life.

In addition, the Mayoress  also itemised the importance of the initiative, according to her, this goes beyond providing educational resources; it symbolizes the LCDA's commitment to community empowerment and social equity. By investing in education, the LCDA is not only fostering individual growth but also contributing to the overall development of the community, our dedication to uplifts the less privileged and promoting inclusive growth.

One of the beneficiary of the gesture Roheenah Anuoluwapo express how excited she was about the free GCE Examination form she received today, and pray that Almighty Allah will continue to guide and blessed the Mayoress.

WHO IS KAFILAT OGBARA

  Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara was born to Alhaji and Alhaja M. Ade. Kasumu’s family in Aiyepe Ogun State. She attended Adrao International School in Victoria Island and Federal Home Science PSchool Ikoyi, Lagos respectively. Her Secondary School Education was at Federal Government Girls College Langtang, Plateau State. Who's The Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada

  Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada was born into the blessed family of the late Alhaji Olatunji Raheem Bada and the late Chief Mrs. Afolakemi Bada (JP) in Odogbolu, Ogun State, on December 28th, 1973. She attended Muslim Primary School in Odogbolu, followed by Odogbolu Grammar School, and completed her education at Ajao Estate High School in Anthony Village, Lagos. She pursued her diploma in Marketing at Ogun State University, now Olabisi Onabanjo University, and later earned her B.Sc. honors in Geography and Planning from Lagos State University, Ojo.
