Lion's Legacy: Hon Daisi Batife's Christmas Blessings Radiate Unity, Excellence, and Communal Gratitude



















On the occasion of the Omituntun Ambassador Group's end-of-year program, Hon Lion Richard Daisi Batife, Deputy Leader of the Legislative Arms in Ikorodu West LCDA and convener of the Omituntun Ambassador Group, orchestrated a noteworthy Christmas food relief distribution. The event garnered the presence of community leaders, stakeholders, political leaders, traditional rulers, residents, and dedicated volunteers.

The distributed food items comprised a thoughtful combination of rice, semolina, groundnut oil, Maggi, beans, garri, tomatoes, pepper etc symbolizing a gesture of seasonal goodwill and support for the local community. Hon Lion Batife seized the opportunity to express gratitude to all LCDA leaders for their unwavering support throughout the electioneering period, acknowledging their belief in him.

During his address, Hon Lion Batife provided a brief overview of his legislative contributions, assuring the community that a comprehensive report would be presented at the upcoming Stakeholders Consultative Forum in January 2024. He emphasized his commitment to transforming Majidun ward, recalling his promises during the campaign. Notable initiatives included sponsoring a resident of Majidun who emerged as the winner of the first edition of the Miss Ikorodu West Pageant.

Furthermore, Hon Lion Batife proudly sponsored 30 residents of Majidun ward to the annual Ayangburen Spelling Bee competition. Remarkably, one participant became the first runner-up, and another secured a position in the top 10 out of over 96 contestants. Both were personally awarded by Lion Daisi Batife in foreign currency, reflecting his dedication to nurturing talent and academic excellence.

The event concluded on a solemn note, with Hon Lion Batife leading a minute of silence to honor the memories of two late leaders, Alh Anifowoshe and Pa Ogunmadewa, who paved the way for his journey to the legislative arms of government in Ikorodu. The assembly joined in prayer, wishing eternal peace for the departed leaders. Hon Lion Batife's multifaceted efforts continue to positively impact the community, fostering a sense of unity and progress.

Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada Distributes Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's Food Palliatives to Ikosi Isheri Residents

In a heartening display of solidarity and support, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's food palliatives were distributed to the residents of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA) today. WHO IS KAFILAT OGBARA

  Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara was born to Alhaji and Alhaja M. Ade. Kasumu’s family in Aiyepe Ogun State. She attended Adrao International School in Victoria Island and Federal Home Science PSchool Ikoyi, Lagos respectively.
