The Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, Chairman, Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance, and other Financial Institutions, extends warm Christmas greetings to Christians and fellow Nigerians.

In his goodwill message, Senator Abiru encourages Christians to embody the virtues of Jesus Christ, emphasizing tolerance, love, and sacrifice as pivotal elements for fostering national cohesion and peaceful co-existence.

Addressing the nation's economic challenges, Senator Abiru urges Nigerians to comprehend the necessity of the tough decisions made by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. These decisions, including the removal of petrol subsidy, unification of foreign exchange, and tax reforms, are deemed essential for rectifying long-standing macroeconomic distortions.

Expressing gratitude, the Senator thanks Nigerians, especially the constituents of the Lagos East Senatorial District, for their unwavering support of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the 2023 general elections.

Senator Abiru joins in the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, extending his festive wishes to the esteemed constituents of Lagos East, Lagos state, and Nigeria as a whole.

WHO IS KAFILAT OGBARA

  Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara was born to Alhaji and Alhaja M. Ade. Kasumu’s family in Aiyepe Ogun State. She attended Adrao International School in Victoria Island and Federal Home Science PSchool Ikoyi, Lagos respectively. Her Secondary School Education was at Federal Government Girls College Langtang, Plateau State.
