Senator Tokunbo Abiru @ 60: Ikosi Isheri Residents Appreciate Doing Good Senator As, He Distributes Over 10,000 Food Packs to Vulnerable Constituents in Lagos East

 



On his 60th birthday, Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, representing Lagos East Senatorial District, exhibited a profound act of compassion by choosing to alleviate the hardships faced by vulnerable members of his constituency. Forgoing festivities, Senator Abiru redirected his focus towards the well-being of his constituents, distributing over 10,000 food packs to households grappling with economic challenges.

Acknowledging the support of his family and constituents, Senator Abiru expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve and credited his wife, Feyisola, and his children for their unwavering support. He also extended appreciation to party leaders, notably President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for their impactful roles in his political journey.

In light of prevailing economic difficulties exacerbated by past policy shortcomings, Senator Abiru emphasized the urgency of addressing basic needs, particularly food security, over indulgent celebrations. He reiterated his commitment to legislative duties and outlined his three-pillar approach focusing on legislative matters, empowerment initiatives, and community endowments to benefit a wider populace.

This humanitarian gesture builds upon Senator Abiru's track record of assisting the vulnerable, including his previous disbursement of over N150 million under the COVID-19 Financial Relief Scheme, providing direct financial assistance to over 2,500 individuals. The senator's dedication to serving his constituents during challenging times underscores his unwavering commitment to their welfare and prosperity.

  Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara was born to Alhaji and Alhaja M. Ade. Kasumu’s family in Aiyepe Ogun State.   Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada was born into the blessed family of the late Alhaji Olatunji Raheem Bada and the late Chief Mrs. Afolakemi Bada (JP) in Odogbolu, Ogun State, on December 28th, 1973.
