Eid-El-Kabir : Senator Tokunbo Abiru Congratulates Muslims, Urges Nigerians To Remain Steadfast Despite Challenges




   

The Senator representing Lagos East Senatorial District, *Distinguished Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA,* has congratulated Muslims in Nigeria on this year's Eid-El-Kabir celebration. He urged Muslims to emulate Prophet Ibrahim's submission to Almighty Allah's will and called for religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians. 

In his Sallah goodwill message released on Saturday by his media aide, Mr. Enitan Olukotun, Senator Abiru, who is the Chairman Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions admonished all Nigerians to remain steadfast despite socio-economic challenges facing the nation.

He called for more prayers and support for the Nigerian President, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as he steers the ship of the nation at this critical point in time of Nigeria’s history.

The statement read, “ I congratulate my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters, and all Nigerians in Lagos East Senatorial District and Nigeria at large, as we mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

“I urge us to live in peace and harmony with everyone, and join hands with government at all levels, particularly, the government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as it makes frantic efforts to stabilise the nation’s economy and ensure lasting prosperity for Nigerians. 

“I pray that Almighty Allah accepts our worship, and prayers for our dear nation as we commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s (Peace be upon him) act of faith, obedience and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah”.

WHO IS KAFILAT OGBARA

  Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara was born to Alhaji and Alhaja M. Ade. Kasumu’s family in Aiyepe Ogun State.
