TAN T’OLORUN PRESENTS OFFICIAL VEHICLES TO MUSLIM COMMUNITY AND CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (CAN)





The Executive Chairman Onigbongbo LCDA, Hon. Oladotun Olakanle presented official vehicles to Muslim Association Onigbongbo Branch and Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Onigbongbo Branch. Today 14th June 2024 @ the Council Secretariat 

 This is In line with fulfilling a pledge as well as actualization of part of his responsibilities to equip our religious leader in the delivery of their responsibilities as servants of God to the good people of Onigbongbo LCDA.

Speaking to stakeholders present, Tant’Olorun mentioned that, his relationship with our religious leaders is very vital to him, _“I am a grassroot politician; I’ve been in this for years, so, i know how to relate with my people, our needs and development of our community is always at the top of my mind; said the council chairman 

The vehicles were presented to the beneficiaries by the party chairperson, Alhaja Iyabo Akerele and the Council Leader, Hon. Kayode Opayemi while former Party Chairman, Alhaji Kehinde Onifade accompanied the council chairman. 

The Muslim community representative, Chief Imam Oregun and the CAN chairman, Rev. Oyelesan, appreciates the Council Chairman for the wonderful gift given to them, while praying for long life and good health to him. It’s was a prayer laden day as the Muslim clerics and CAN endorse the Council Chairman, Hon. Oladotun Olakanle for a second term. 

The presentation session was graced with,  our deputy leader, Hon. Rashid Isiaka, Majority Leader, Hon. Azeez Daudu, Hon. Gbenga Adedeji, Hon. Shamusideen Oloyede, Hon. Francis Nkwo, Hon. Rahman Adebiyi, Hon. Folu Omotosho, Hon. Glory Igbafe and other official members of Onigbongbo LCDA.

Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada Distributes Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's Food Palliatives to Ikosi Isheri Residents

In a heartening display of solidarity and support, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu's food palliatives were distributed to the residents of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA) today. The distribution, orchestrated by the Mayoress and her team, exemplifies the Lagos State Government's dedication to alleviating the challenges faced by its citizens during these unprecedented times. The food palliatives, comprising over 5,000 crates of eggs, bread, yams, and various other essential items, were distributed to party faithfuls and residents across Ikosi Isheri LCDA. WHO IS KAFILAT OGBARA

  Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara was born to Alhaji and Alhaja M. Ade. Kasumu’s family in Aiyepe Ogun State. She attended Adrao International School in Victoria Island and Federal Home Science PSchool Ikoyi, Lagos respectively. Her Secondary School Education was at Federal Government Girls College Langtang, Plateau State. A graduate of English Language and Literature from the University of Lagos, she also acquired her Masters Degree in International Law and Diplomacy and another Masters Degree in Public Administration all from the University of Lagos. Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara started her career in Property and Facility Management in the Family Business. She had a background in the prints and Electronic Media as a Television Presenter on NTA on the programme ‘Faces and Events’, Publisher of Today's Prime newspaper, and the former Managing Director/ CEO of National Mirror Newspaper in the print media.
