Ikosi Isheri APC Members Stands United: Enthusiastic Backing for Mayoress Bada at LGA Meeting

The Ikosi Isheri APC LGA meeting, presided over by the LGA Chairman, Alh Alli Olatubosun, was held 18th of July 2024, today at the temporary party secretariat (Ikosi Isheri Council Secretariat). The gathering was marked by an atmosphere of praise and appreciation for the council boss, Mayoress Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, for her consistent welfare efforts towards party members, as attested by the LGA Chairman.

Party members gave unwavering support by singing various songs that emphasized their loyalty to the Mayoress, including chants of "No vacancy in the chairmanship race of Ikosi Isheri LCDA," "Mayoress Lekansii," and "One good term deserves another."

During the meeting, a representative of the first executive chairman of Ikosi Isheri addressed the attendees, disclaiming rumors of an aspirant claiming his endorsement for the chairmanship position. He affirmed that the Mayoress is the candidate of all the GAC members in greater Kosofe, led by Otunba Bushra Alebiosu and Omoba Shosanya. He emphasized that Otunba Bushra Alebiosu and Omoba Shosanya are their leaders, and wherever they go, he goes. Furthermore, he added that they (the 2 GAC leaders) have not informed him that the Mayoress will not be returning for a second term, and the Mayoress herself has not stated otherwise, therefore the mayoress has his hundred percent support.

Among the dignitaries present was Hon. Abiodun Martins, one of the aspirants, who appeared visibly dazed and confused by the overwhelming support and ovation received by the Mayoress during the meeting.

Overall, the meeting showcased strong backing for Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada and reinforced her position as the favored candidate for the chairmanship race of Ikosi Isheri LCDA.
